Everyone's using it. Most aren't seeing it pay off.

Across companies today, most now use AI somewhere in the business. Regular use is no longer rare. But ask how many have felt a real bottom line difference, and the number drops fast. Using a tool and getting a result from it are two different things.
One widely cited 2025 survey found something stark. Only about one in twenty companies counted as a real AI "high performer" with a clear business payoff. Nearly everyone else was still using AI without seeing it move the numbers.
