Read the Landscape, Pick the Tool
Part one
Three different jobs, three different tools
No-code is not one thing. It is three different jobs wearing the same name. Picking the right family before you start is the single biggest thing that separates a build that ships in a week from one that drowns in rework.
Job one: a marketing or brand site. A portfolio, a startup homepage, a landing page for a campaign. Mostly public content, read by humans, designed to look good and be found. Built in tools like Framer or Webflow.
Job two: a real web app. Logins, user accounts, custom logic, a database the user pushes data into. Think a booking tool, a customer portal, a SaaS product. Built in a tool like Bubble, which is closer to programming without the code.
Job three: an app from data you already have. A spreadsheet that should really be a directory, a dashboard, an internal tool for the team. Built fast from a table in something like Softr or Glide.
