Anthropic published a 154-page threat intelligence report on September 10 accusing seven China-based AI labs of routing customer requests through Claude to harvest its outputs for model training.

The Cyberspace Administration of China is investigating DeepSeek and Moonshot AI over user data that may have reached Anthropic's servers without customers' knowledge.
The seven companies named in Anthropic's report were Alibaba, Moonshot AI, DeepSeek, Zhipu, MiniMax, Xiaomi, and SenseTime.
Anthropic reported that Moonshot sent over 23 million exchanges through Claude in the May-to-July window.
